KaariKher is working to improve the conditions of the less privileged, helpless, and handicapped individuals. The organization is working day and night to make life happier, especially for the middle class, lower middle class, and even lower class. At the time of establishing the organization, the team comprises of women who took the initiative to establish KaariKher and had made a commitment to serve the distressed people living in Pakistan at all stages of life. It is a blessing in disguise that today the organization is serving humanity across Pakistan without any discrimination.

Hundreds of people are benefited daily from the KaariKher. The organization provides meals through Dastarkhwan, facility of clean drinking water, medical support, renting of poor people's houses, school fees and monthly expenses of their children, assistance in the marriage of their daughters, small grants for running small-scale businesses for livelihood, stalls, shop delivery, finger chips machine, sewing machines for women and other items are provided. Also, provide inclusive support to the masses in case of any calamity or disaster.

KaariKher started in January 2021 as a concept of monthly committee at 500 by few women. A WhatsApp group was formed to explain the purpose. The monthly committee amount was agreed to hand over to any member for helping any poor person in her knowledge. However; men in the WhatsApp group separately didn't agree to this idea and they asked to keep it open and provide the money to anyone in need. A lucky draw for total members was carried out and all names were shared in the WhatsApp group as per the turn for every month committee. The very first amount was 14500 PKR from the women group and it was handed over to the member as per the lucky draw. This continued for few months and over the time, members started arguing that there shouldn't be any committee concept and we should work the needy people known by the members. Men group was already following the same approach. Meanwhile a consultation was held among members to recommend a name for this group and our dear brother Saeed ul Hassan proposed name “KAARIKHER” was chosen from many other recommendations.

Ms. Hurria Khan designed the logo of “KAARIKHER” and this is all about the history of “KAARIKHER”. Ms. Rifat Shams along with Dr. Tabinda Khawaja and Mrs. Nighat Qadeer started this charity pool and now “KAARIKHER” is grown to a portfolio of 1.5 million monthly with minimum amount of charity at 500 PKR.

Total women members are more than 220 and men members are around 80. The entire set up is run by volunteers and entire system of “KAARIKHER” is led, managed and controlled by women. “KAARIKHER” started with the caption of "trading with ALLAH " who is there to give a good debt to Allah" This was the verse that motivated the founders of “KAARIKHER” and they inspired brothers and sisters to invest in the path of Allah. The concept of charity with “KAARIKHER” moves round the year so it’s not restricted to Ramadan only but it's every day and every month Alhamdulillah.

“KAARIKHER” is an example of sisterhood and brotherhood where members share the issues and problems and their requests are addressed from the pool money. The names of donors and receivers are kept confidential and only the volunteers maintaining sheets and records know the details who are supposed to keep it a secret as per their oath with KK.
